Huge thanks to everyone who attended class on Saturday. It was such a fun time!
In this class, we reviewed the work of early psychoanalysts Carl Gustav Jung and Sabina Spielrein, and took a look at several of Freud’s writings from this period, including Totem and Taboo (1913), “On the history of the psychoanalytic movement” (1914), “Remembering, repeating, and working through” (1914), the metapsychological papers – “On Narcissism: An Introduction” (1915), “Instincts and their Vicissitudes” (1915), “Repression” (1915), “The Unconscious” (1915), “Mourning and Melancholia” (1917) – as well as “Thoughts for the times on war and death” (1915), and a contemporary look at Daniel Paul Schreber.
I’ve uploaded the bibliography to the GOOGLE DRIVE (link below paywall)..
