An Introduction to Psychoanalysis continues June 13th!
With Dr. Vanessa Sinclair
The next instalment of my Introduction to Psychoanalysis course is coming up Saturday, June 13th!
In the previous class, we wrapped up Freud’s major works from the end of his life, including “Group Psychology and Analysis of the Ego” and “Civilisation and its Discontents.” In this next class, we’ll review the work of revolutionary psychoanalysts, Otto Gross, Wilhelm Reich, Otto Fenichel, and Erich Fromm. We’ll also take a look at Anna Freud, Melanie Klein, and the Controversial Discussions at the British Psychoanalytic Society in the 1940s, as well as the life and work of Donald W. Winnicott, who represented the Middle or Independent Group.
We will be meeting online for 2 hours beginning at 10AM NYC (7AM Vancouver/ 3PM London/ 16:00 Stockholm/ 17:00 Beirut/ midnight Sydney) on Saturday, June 13th.
