Coming up March 7th: WE MUST NOT TALK ASTROLOGY!
With Emmalea Russo
In a passage in her book Tribute to Freud, the poet H.D. (Hilda Doolittle), describes her analysis with Freud, painting a vivid picture of her inner thoughts while on Freud’s couch, complete with astrological references and zodiacal musings. Then, she interrupts herself: “But we must not talk astrology.” H.D. writes that her father and Freud agree on this point. No astrology! In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll use H.D.’s warning as a jumping off point to explore the relationship between astrology and psychoanalysis. Is astrology hidden in psychoanalysis itself, as a kind of unconscious? Aside from H.D.’s writings, we may look at passages from Louise Bourgeois, C.G. Jung, and Freud himself.
We will be meeting online for 2 hours beginning at 11AM NYC (8AM Vancouver/ 4PM London/ 17:00 Stockholm/ 18:00 Beirut) on Saturday, March 7th.

We’ll be letting the dream “carry us on its mane,” as Cixous wrote.
DREAM SCHOOL has two tracks:
DREAM STUDY: monthly workshops
DREAM WORK: monthly workshops plus 6 generative dreamwork groups throughout the year, focused on generating new work
